dodging bicycles and police
Shortly after arrival we met our new friend and fellow photo quester Dan, who arrived at the airport cafe under police escort. They were the friendliest police we ever met because they escorted him out to the coffee shop (where you get coffee) to tell us he was here and being detained for a bit. And they thought we would be the troublemakers.

Bikes are EVERYWHERE in Holland. In 1975 we took our bikes with us to Holland and biked for 3 weeks. We got stuck in a traffic circle in Utrecht and couldn't get out. It was really scary.
I am so jealous of your trip. I hope you are having a great time. I can't wait to see some of your pictures.
